Design Transitions

During 2012, with the knowledge that design is now moving into different area, I working with two amazing people Joyce Yee, Lauren Tan to co-writing a book called Design Transitions. The insights captured during the Walkabout is contributing to understanding how design company changing on a global level. We intent that the book will be publish in Spring 2013. International Visual Literacy Association’s Student Research Award. This award is given to students for outstanding research that furthers the cause of Visual Literacy. This award was given for the doctoral study on Fostering Designers’ Visual Practices Through A Sociocultural Approach.

2005
International Visual Literacy Association’s Braden/Beauchamp Visual Literacy Award. This award is given to research/presentations that foster the theoretical work of the International Visual Literacy Association.This award was given for a paper entitled ‘Devising a Method for Improving Design Education of Digital Visual Skills’ presented at the 36th Annual International Visual Literacy Association Conference. October 4-7, 2004 Pilansberg, South Africa.
